Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The warranty only applies to defects which have arisen solely from faulty materials or workmanship, this does not apply to other defects which may have arisen as a result of, without limitation, the following:

Electropolishing is an electrochemical finishing process that leaves a smooth, ultra-clean finish and improves corrosion resistance of stainless steel.

| Workmanship of products (grates/ channels) | 10 years | Requests for service due to tea staining cannot be accepted by Stormtech, as it is a result of faulty installation or inappropriate maintenance. To reduce the risk of superficial staining or tea staining, please refer to the applicable product care statement above. Individual sites and situations can have dramatically different requirements for maintenance. The grates and channels must be kept clean, and corrosion reducer/inhibitors may need to be regularly applied. If the grates are used in or around pools Stormtech recommend the grates are electropolished regardless of the type of pool water used. |
| Stainless Steel / Electropolishing | 10 Years | It is guaranteed that the stainless steel material provided is 316 grade stainless steel (or 304 grade if specified). |

| Electroplating Metallic Finish | 7 Years | The supplied product is supplied in a condition that is not intended to the final finish. Electroplating with a metal such as copper, brass or bronze, the coating will tarnish and change over time with use. Stormtech cannot take any responsibility for variations in colour with the ageing process. Digital images of colours may vary from the finished product. Colours selected can vary in hue and batches produced at different times will be slightly different. Excludes products installed in external situations (courtyards, pools. etc). |
